Random by Kelsey

It's amazing how well you can get to know someone by just reading their blog. That is one of the reasons why we got rid of all of our old posts, with an exception of those made by Mama. We want people to be blessed when they read what we wrote, and not just think that this is a fun blog. We have a live traffic feed, and we usually have no clue as to who most of those people are, so we want to be a good testimony to them, especially since most of them will probably only get on our blog once. Also since this is pretty much the only way to communicate with our friends whom we don't see much, we want our character to be "above reproach." Our mother has always told us that while we are young we are developing our character, and also an opinion of other people's character. And so other people are developing a opinion of us as well. For example I will always think of Meredith from Striving To Serve At Home as a wise, faithful person, and who continues to use her life to serve the Lord and her family to the best of her ability. Of course that doesn't mean that she is perfect, but she is so humble and always uses her mistakes as a learning opportunity for herself and others. I have been greatly blessed by reading her blog. I am also very grateful that she took the time each day to write about things in her life, just to bless other people. I can't wait until she returns to blogging!

I realized recently that all of the people who own my favorite blogs seem to have a purpose in what they do. They just write about what they are doing and don't do certain things with their families just to make a interesting blog post. Those blogs always seem so put on and silly. I challenge you to be yourself, but make sure you are conducting yourself in a godly manner! I say that in a humble way, because I haven't always been mature in my blogging myself. :)
I just now did the above paragraph but the one above it was done nearly two months ago! It's good to be back!

I can hardly believe summer is nearly over! We have really been enjoying swimming at the Y and playing on our new trampoline! When I was really little until I was about twelve I'd always had an extreme fascination with two things: trampolines and jack in the boxes. I never got the jack in the box and don't want one anymore, but Daddy got us the trampoline! I'll post some pictures in a bit. ~Kelsey

Hey! :) It's nice to hear from you! On our blog it said that this post was 1 month old, but I saw the name and checked it out, and I'm glad I did! :)

I'm so glad the two of you are back! I totally agree about blogging. It's hard to find the right balance of "fun" and encouragement sometimes.

Love you girls!
