Wow

Hello everyone! I was fixing up some pictures from the last few months on picasa and I found this one. The camera that I use isn't that great of a quality, but it never ceases to amaze me with some of the photos it takes! ~Kelsey

Well, I'm back to blogging! I need to head off to bed, but I wanted to let y'all know that I haven't given up blogging, I just haven't made time for it. I've sometimes found myself wishing that we had more hours in a day!
Well, I'd better go! I'll try to catch up on y'all's blogs tomorrow, and maybe do a real post, but we'll see!

Tomorrow is my birthday! By Kelsey

Tomorrow is my birthday, but since yesterday was Saturday, we celebrated it then. I had asked if I could have my ears pierced, so I did that yesterday. It only hurt a tiny bit. I told Kendal it was like getting a shot, only you end up with earrings! Since we were in the mall we looked around and while Mama fed Joshua I looked in a jewelery store. I think my very favorite jem is the opal. I think it is neat how it sparkles in different colors. The rarest kind and therefore most expensive kind is a fire opal, which is mostly black with darker colors inside. But I think the prettiest kind are the ones that are mostly white with pastel colors inside.

After that we went to a shoe store and I got a pair of sandals that I can wear this fall and next summer. We then went to a few different thrift stores and came home.

For dinner we went out to Carraba's with some dear friends, Erin Pollard and Mr. and Mrs. Pollard. http://erinpollard.blogspot.com/ This is Erin's blog. We had a really good time, and it was especially nice for me since I rarely get to go out for dinner and have never been with a friend. Thank you for babysitting Kendal! They got a phone call while out and discovered that a family member had fallen and broken a hip, arm and dislocated her shoulder. So if y'all would remember to pray for her I'm sure that would be a blessing to them. Well I hope you have a wonderful week! ~Kelsey

I hope y'all enjoy the pictures! I was planning on posting a picture of Kendal and I at the pool, but the one I liked of me I had sunglasses on, and what's the use of a picture if you can't tell who I am? Anyone know why it's called a Snapdragon?
This is one of my favorite colors in Snapdragons.
A picture very similar to the one above won a photo contest but it had a shiny little fly on it. And I wasn't the photographer!
Daniel found this butterfly drying it's wings in our backyard. It must have been a very fortunate cousin of the ones I've been squishing. I keep finding the caterpillars on my carrots.

I love this picture! I love the way you can see the little flecks of color on it's wings.

Joshua is so cute! He smiles all the time, though he is usually smiling at something over our heads. We think he can see angels above us and I'm jealous!

My camera can take good pictures when it wants to!

I'm thinking about sending this in for a phota contest.

Mama claims I can jump so high because my toes are so long! I'm trying to type while everyone is watching Veggie Tales, it's very difficult! Especially when the new Silly Song "Pants" is playing! Well I hope everyone has a great weekend! ~Kelsey
